Budget and Finance Specialist
Job Duties
- Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
- Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare budget reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and trends.
- Develop financial forecasts and models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with departments to gather and analyze financial data for forecasting purposes.
- Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Analyze and monitor costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Implement cost control measures and track their effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on cost allocation and financial resource optimization.
- Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide financial support and guidance.
- Assist in financial training and capacity building for staff as needed.
- Support special projects and initiatives related to financial management and strategy
Job Requirements
Job entails working with and requires bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:
- Budget Management
- Financial Analysis
- Financial Reporting
- Forecasting and Planning
- Regulatory Compliance
- Cost Control
- Risk Management
Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 years of experience in the position Financial consultant, budget analyst or any financial related position.
Work Time: M-F; 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. 40 hrs./week.
Salary: $ 70,200 per annum.
