Budget and Finance Specialist

Job Duties

  • Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare budget reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and trends.
  • Develop financial forecasts and models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather and analyze financial data for forecasting purposes.
  • Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Analyze and monitor costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Implement cost control measures and track their effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on cost allocation and financial resource optimization.
  • Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide financial support and guidance.
  • Assist in financial training and capacity building for staff as needed.
  • Support special projects and initiatives related to financial management and strategy

Job Requirements

Job entails working with and requires master’s degree in Finance, Budgeting, Risk Management position or relevant with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:
Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 years of experience in the position Finance, Budgeting, Risk Management position or related.
